Terms of Service

Effective: August 24, 2026Last updated: August 24, 2026

Welcome to AskLift™. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AskLift website at asklift.ai (the “Site”) and the AskLift AI search visibility platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”). AskLift is owned and operated by Server Side Design, Inc. (“AskLift,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” will refer to that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

AskLift is a SaaS platform that monitors and analyzes how AI search engines — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews — mention, recommend, and position your brand. The Service provides visibility scoring, competitive intelligence, search opportunity discovery, and guided content improvement workflows (each a “Lift”). We offer free audits and paid subscription plans with varying feature limits and scan cadences.

AskLift does not guarantee specific AI ranking outcomes. Scores, estimates, and recommendations are provided for informational and strategic purposes and are based on data available at the time of scanning.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free-tier accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to access, scan, or monitor domains you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service through automated means without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or the networks and services connected to the Service.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or promotional content to third parties.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payment

  • Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe.
  • You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to your designated payment method.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
  • Plan limits (such as the number of tracked asks, sites, competitors, and scan frequency) are defined by your selected plan. We reserve the right to change plan features and pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
  • Free trials, if offered, are subject to trial-specific terms and may be converted to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, scores, dashboards, and features, is owned by Server Side Design, Inc. and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. The AskLift™ name and logo are trademarks of Server Side Design, Inc.

These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including your company information, website content retrieved during scans, generated content drafts, and configuration data (“User Content”). You grant AskLift a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

7. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence and large language models to generate content drafts, analysis, and recommendations. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing it on your website or sharing it with third parties. AskLift is not liable for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated output.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and retrieves data from third-party AI platforms, data providers, and publishing systems (such as WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, and others). AskLift is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of these third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AskLift and Server Side Design, Inc. disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that scan results or visibility scores will be accurate or reflect real-time AI engine behavior. AI search engine responses are generated by third-party models and may vary between queries and over time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall AskLift, Server Side Design, Inc., or their affiliates, officers, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AskLift in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00) if you have not paid for the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AskLift, Server Side Design, Inc., and their affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AskLift regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
